| Bio: | An infamous internet curmudgeon, J.F. Quackenbush spent four years as a contributing editor, and eventual editor in chief of the notorious web 'zine YankTheChain.com. YankTheChain saw the intitial publication of Quackenbush's popular columns: The Mark Hamill Watch, a free form public art project; People in the Music Industry Who Should Be Shot, Neutered or Both; and the touchingly poignant series of personal narratives "Nowhere City, USA," which column resulted in a romantic encounter between the author and an almost complete stranger on at least one occasion.
He doesn't do much now that he's completed the BA in Philosophy he was working on when he started the journa. He is currently focusing on poetry in his writing and has undertaken the composition of a novel in the vain and delusional hope that he might be able make some money off of it. I do know that he's thinking about cobbling together a list of publications here so that people can go read his stuff, but I suspect that he's too lazy to get to that. He lives in Seattle and thinks its strange to speak about himself in the third person. Which is why he isn't writing this and I am.
